Choose Your Margarita Adventure

Everybody loves a Margarita. It's the guaranteed party starter!

Whether your preference is on the rocks, salt or no salt, or hot and spicy, we’ve got you covered with our ultimate guide to Marg-it-your-way!

Step 1. Mix it like a pro!

Take 40ml Tequila (go premium!), 20ml Fresh Lime Juice, 20ml Triple Sec and lots of ice, add to a shaker, and shake till your hands are frozen. Couldn't be any easier!

Step 2. Sweet or Spicy?

The great thing about this recipe is there are so many twists and variations. Like your Marg spicy? Add some fresh chilli.

Keen on something a little softer? Swap out the triple sec for agave syrup to make a Tommy's Margarita.

Step 3. Sip in style

The glassware doesn’t matter as much as the delicious concoction inside but we like our cocktails dressed appropriately for the part!

Our top recommendation for glassware follow. For a traditional Margarita glass (left), the wide rim allows extra salt! Margaritas can also be served in sophisticated coupette (middle). Alternatively, you can serve your margarita on the rocks in a rocks glass (left).

Step 4. To Rim or Not to Rim

Rim your glass with salt or sugar or just leave it bare? Totally up to you!

If you decide to rim, opt for a classic Margarita glass or coupette glass. Run the inside of a lime wedge around the rim of your glass to wet it. Pour some salt onto a plate. Holding your glass parallel to the plate, touch the rim to the salt and turn slowly.

The fun part... picking your salts! Sriracha, Jalapeno, Chipotle or Cyprus Black flake salts, the possibilities are endless from The Salt Box

If you decide to go rimless, opt for a rocks glass, with ice and lime as garnish. Traditionally, this is how a Tommy's Margarita is served.
